Kindellwood is a Small Maker in Cambridgeshire, UK. Our aim is to craft unique wooden jigsaws that are challenging, fun and satisfying to piece together, offering an alternative and mindful escape from the daily rush of life. 

 

There is something truly satisfying about solving a mystery from multiple directions and our puzzles aim to provide for that need. We recommend just one last look at the guide picture and then put it aside for a fuller experience. Many of our puzzles offer challenges through reflective water mimicking the sky or challenging colour schemes such as in Scotland Forever or Medusa. When we first assembled Medusa at only 170 pieces it seemed the difficulty had gone perhaps a little too far. But as always, the picture comes together, area by area and the changing size and shapes of pieces gives additional clues and makes it one of the most satisfying puzzles to complete. Challenging but always enough progress to draw you back do just find another few connections.

 

Our artwork is printed and lacquered to give a high definition finish. Mounted on 4mm birch plywood, our cut designs are drawn freehand to give a very asymmetrical feel to our puzzles. Piece sizes expand and contract across each puzzle and interlocking is non standard. 

 

Our boxes are cut, hand finished and assembled from cherry veneered wood and can be personalised. In that way that our offering makes for a very unique and special gift for all occasions.
